I am still really undecided about what my paper topic can be. I always have a hard time choosing a topic. I think it is one of the worst parts of a paper. I still have some things in mind though.
My first idea was something about the Humboldt Park area. I grew up in that area and remember all my childhood memories there. There are also parts of that area I would like to visit and learn more about.
My second idea was the Wrigleyville area maybe? Still not sure where I would go with that. Well with either of them I'm still uncertain but yeah... I just like that area. I think that it is interesting and beautiful. AND that's the home of the best baseball team EVER! :)
So yeah... These are my thoughts but they do need A LOT of work...

ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you're heavily considering the specific location/place that the research will occur. Try and narrow down the subject a bit and pick a specific aspect of Humboldt or Wrigleyville to start investigating. I live in Humboldt now. Perhaps you might want to explore how the Hispanic community has come to be integrated into this area? Or perhaps explore the impact that all the murals have on community life? Just some thoughts...we'll talk in class more tommarow.
